    Listen! You listen! Don’t shed tear,
    It is precious than Diamonds here.
                                            
                                            Whether it is dark or darker,
                                            He is always there as yours parker.

    God gives you life not to fear
    He, wanna you to have pleasure,
    That’s why he has sent to Earth his closest sovenier.
                                           
                                             Who is he? You may wonder,
                                             But he is one who never let you ponder.

    As sun burns to give us light,
    He burns to put us on the right
    Even, he, shows how salt become sweeter.
                                  
                                  On the path of nails,
                                  When all means fails,
                                   He shows us the success tail,
                                   But never want you to hail.
   
    All says future is mystery,
    He makes it a legendry history.
                    
                                  He grind and suffer,
                                  But in return ask never,
                                  As he is our saver.
   
    He shapes you for the nation,
    Upto the optimum perfection.
    Its not only a piece of his notion,
    But also his ultimate passion.
                                  
                                 This leave us to wonder
                                 Alas, whose creation he is!

    When time comes to choose between a diverse road?
    He gives us the breaking code.
    It is his style, because he wants us to smile,
    But never fear Exile.
                      
                               You at higher and higher is his only aim,
                               As he is not a beggar of fame.
   
    If God is Earth’s rider, he is our pathfinder.
    Who is he? You may wonder,
    But he is nor other then our, “Teacher”.

Rourkela: ‘A picture says a thousand words’ is an adage that aptly describes photographs by  A N Maniyappan, which were on display at 8 th National Conference of Steel Worker’s Federation of India (SWFI) at Bhanja Bhawan. The 68-year old man from Ernakulam district of Kerela, exhibited his rare photographs and collected ones on the theme ‘In defence of Civilization’. The exhibition featured 400 collections of photographs on a wide range of subjects. Developmental trial of Astra missile conducted

Rourkela: India today conducted developmental trial of its indigenously developed beyond visual range (BVR) air-to-air missile ‘Astra’ from the Integrated Test Range at Chandipur, about 15 km from Balasore. The sophisticated missile was test-fired from a launcher in launch pad-2 of the ITR at about 01.25 PM targeting a flying object being supported by a pilotless target air-craft ‘Lakshya’, defence sources said. The single stage, solid fuelled ‘Astra’ missile is more advanced in its category than the contemporary BVR missiles and is capable of engaging and destroying highly manoeuvrable supersonic aerial targets. The 3.8-metre long missile, having a diameter of 178 mm with an overall launch weight of 160 kg, can carry a warhead containing conventional explosives weighing 15 kg. Prithvi-II test fired successfully

Rourkela: India today successfully test-fired its indigenously developed nuclear capable Prithvi-II missile with a strike range of 350 km from a test range at Chandipur near Balasore. The surface-to-surface missile was test fired from a mobile launcher in salvo mode from launch complex-3 of Integrated Test Range at about 9:21 AM, defence sources said. The launch of the sophisticated missile, conducted as part of operational exercise by the Strategic Force Command (SFC) of the defence services, was successful, they said. “The missile was randomly chosen from the production stock and the total launch activities were carried out by the specially formed SFC and monitored by the scientists of Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) as part of practice drill,” sources said.
