It is worth mentioning here that the garden has been developed by the Projects Department in association with CE (S) and Material Recovery Department. Spread over an area of more than 1500 square metres, the garden has been beautifully landscaped.

The manicured lawns bedecked with plants and shrubs and the models of different animals together create a visual treat for the visitors and a refreshing change for the people working in the tough environs of the plant.

Notably, a number of gardens have been developed in many unused areas under the unique initiative of the CEO to transform the Rourkela Steel Plant into a plant amidst gardens. These gardens provide relief to the eyes and a good working ambience.
