NIT Rourkela to organize workshop on Industry Institute Partnership

Rourkela, Dec 4: Centre for Technology Innovation and Industry Relations (TIIR) of NIT Rourkela is going to organize an Industry-Institute-Interface interactive session on 'Technology for Business Advantage: Collaboration between NITR & Industry' on January 7 at Prana Krushna Parija Auditorium (PPA) of the institute Campus.

This event will be an ideal platform to discuss issues of mutual interest pertaining to technology & innovation beneficial for industry and its welfare. NIT Rourkela is putting its best foot forward to bridge the skill gaps that exist in the industry by offering it technology expertise.

NIT Rourkela, with its intellectual capital, the human resource, the library, the laboratories and equipment, and its tradition of scholarship, is an ocean of knowledge that is waiting to be tapped by the industry for creation of wealth and welfare of humanity. 

The interface between the institute and the industry, the interface between the ocean of knowledge and the continents of application is the core philosophy of Centre for Technology Innovation and Industry Relations (TIIR). 

TIIR is aimed at providing a forum to promote and facilitate activities in a manner that will not only take NIT research to Industry and Society, but also will bring the knowledge and experience of the Industry to enrich the academic programmes of the Institute.

 

This proposed workshop will attempt to bring together industry community, articulating their skill gap and TIIR’s endeavour to propose possible solutions that may lead to enhanced productivity, profitability and welfare. Representatives from MSME, Rourkela Chamber of Commerce, NSIC, OYEA, RIC will participate in the event. Prof. Sunil Ku. Sarangi, Director, NIT Rourkela will inaugurate the function.
