Sinha joins as SP, Rourkela

Rourkela: Amitendra Nath Sinha joined as the new Superintendent of Police (SP) here today.

An IPS officer of 2002 batch, Sinha succeeded the 2003 batch IPS officer Himanshu Lal, who was transfered to the Enforcement Directorate under Central Government.

He had served as SP, Puri, DCP in Commissionerate Police and Commandant of Special Operation Group (SOG).

After joining, Sinha called a meeting where all senior police officials of Rourkela welcomed him and discussed the current law and order situation of the district.
