Talk on ‘Healthy way of life’ organized by Axis Bank

Rourkela: As a part of its Corporate Social responsibility (CSR) to spread awareness on maintaining good health and to live better life, the Axis Bank Ltd, Rourkela arranged a talk on “Healthy way of life” by Mridu Hari Dalmia-Promoter and President of OCL India Ltd at Civic Centre here yesterday.

Speaking on the occasion, Dalmia emphasized on the dictum, ‘Health is Wealth’ and said nowadays people from every section of the society are concerned about their health. However, he said “it is observed that nowadays stress, changed life style, erratic food habits are responsible for most common diseases like blood pressure, diabetes, heart ailments, Depression, etc”.

He talked about the importance of natural ways to keep one healthy and stress-free by doing regular pranayam and other exercises, which are immensely useful in maintaining good health.

Dalmia is a leading industrialist of the country and leads a number of companies with diversified interests, including cement, industrial ceramics, mechanical engineering, mining and information technology.

However, nowadays, Dalmia devotes most of his time on propagating healthy life style through his own examples and by sharing his experiences.

He had talked on the subject at major Indian banks, financial institutions, reputed educational institutions and top industrial houses such as Larson & Toubro, Bennett & Coleman, etc.

Among others, G S Prasad, CEO, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP), Ananta Charan Swain, Branch Head, Axis Bank, Rourkela, Prof. Sunil Kumar Sarangi, Director, NIT, Rourkela and other officials of RSP and Axis Bank were present.
